Power Doesn't Compromise Efficiency with the Volvo XC60

Many consumers find that the more power they're after, the less efficient of a vehicle they'll be able to find. There aren't a lot of manufacturers that have been able to design a vehicle that will bring more power to the table with each upgraded performance package, while still keeping fuel consumption at a reasonable level. Volvo managed to achieve the unthinkable with their XC60 model. This is a vehicle that is impressive right from its base model. The T5 comes with a 250-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. This is along with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

If you want to upgrade to the more powerful engine, you'll get the 316-horsepower turbo- and a supercharged four-cylinder engine that is part of the Volvo XC60 T6. Both vehicles can achieve the same fuel efficiency rating of 20 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.
